Cleaning your Car in 3 Easy Steps
Cars are expensive investments in which we often spend a lot of time. Wash them regularly and wax them about twice a year, this is the best way to protect them. We offer you a cleaning plan in 3 easy steps.
1. Vacuum:
Start by washing the interior of the car.
- Vacuum with its nozzle on and between the seats.
- Then clean them thoroughly, choosing a product suitable for the material they are made from - a stiff-bristled brush and upholstery cleaner if they are fabric, an all-purpose household cleaner, and a cloth if they are made of fabric. vinyl, leather soap, and a wet sponge if they are leather.
- Be careful, do not soak them, abundant water could damage them.
- After cleaning the leather, coat it with a thin layer of protective nourishing product.
2. Tackle the Seats and the Carpet:
- Cloth Seats: remove animal hair with an adhesive brush. If not, wrap masking tape around your hand and run it over the surfaces to be dusted.
- Vacuum the Carpet: then spray it with carpet and carpet cleaner, then scrub it with a stiff brush. If you have a wet and dry vacuum cleaner, feel free to wet the upholstery a little to loosen the dirt before cleaning. Vacuum again.
- Dirt the Carpets: take them out of the car and run them through the garden hose. Dilute a little cleaning product in water, at a rate of approximately one drop per liter. Dip a stiff bristle brush into this soapy mixture and scrub. Rinse them with a jet until the water runs clear. Let them air dry, but without exposing them to direct sunlight, it may discolor them.
3. The Doors:
- Clean the Door Pillars: open them and carefully scrub all-around using a cloth soaked in soapy water. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Wash the Doors: after wiping them with a cloth dampened with soapy water, run an old toothbrush through the hollows. Wrap a very lightly moistened cloth around a plastic knife to clean the possible electric mechanism. Warning: water inside the latter could cause a failure or a short circuit (proceed in the same way when cleaning the buttons and dials on the dashboard). Wipe off.
After a big cleaning of the car, you will have the impression to find the state it had when the purchase!
