5 of the Hottest Cars at the 2018 New York Auto Show
The New York International Auto Show 2018 was all about SUVs. It had many other vehicles on display but the major highlights were the SUVs. Here are 5 of the hottest cars at the New York Auto Show.
- Toyota RAV-4
Toyota RAV4 is one of the most popular compact SUVs manufactured by Toyota. It has earned its reputation for being a dependable vehicle. But, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 looks more aggressive and edgy. It will be equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine as well as a gas-electric hybrid version with a drive system that increases torque to the rear wheels.
It includes advanced safety features as standard. That includes automatic emergency braking and steering assistant.
- Subaru Forester
Subaru has a loyal following among the owners. Keeping it into view, it is not a surprise that 2019 Subaru Forrester looks a lot like its older preceding model. However, the new version comes with more cargo and passenger space and some advanced safety features. A major attraction is its standard all-wheel drive.
It is powered by an updated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine which, according to the company, will increase gas mileage to a rating of 33 MPG in highway driving. The new version will go on sale later this year.
- Nissan Altima
Nissan is hoping to attract buyers with the sleek styling and new technology of 2019 Nissan Altima. It has an edge over its two major competitors – Toyota Camry and Honda Accord – for offering optional all-wheel drive. With higher trim levels you can get automatic rear braking. It is expected to go on sale in fall.
- Lincoln Aviator
The new Lincoln Aviator aims to make your life easier and less stressful as it is laden with modern technology with many other features. You can use your smartphone to lock unlock and start your Aviator.
It will be available as a plug-in hybrid and also with a standard gasoline engine. It will go on sale next year.
